"If I read too much or know too much it's not because I want to talk about it, it's only because it's interesting for me." -Karl Lagerfeld

Whenever I get a new....well, anything, I try to think of interesting ways to wear it. The Valentino bow clutch I recently purchased is a bit of a challenge, mostly because it's blue, while my new/old (haha) vintage bags are much easier to match.

Here is an interesting outfit I can see the Valentino with:

Both items were thrifted and I absolutely love them together. The jacket is from St. John by Marie Gray and I found it at a Salvation Army store for $4. The tank top is Alice by Temperley; I think it was $14?
The jacket is very cool in my opinion:
The buttons are huge and gold, which is one of my weaknesses.
I would pair this with just a pair of skinny jeans and some black or nude flats, or perhaps red flats for a pop of color (Prada bow flats, I'm looking at you).

Also, I think it would look awesome with these Kate Spade earrings I really want to buy:

I also realized that I have a blue headband that matches the Valentino bag quite nicely:

Hooray for bows. :)
As for the Balmain, it goes with anything really. Here is an outfit with the Balmain bag, a Tibi blouse, Current/Elliot jeggings/pants, and a thrifted Brooks Brothers belt.
Another random combination I love is pairing my Marc by Marc Jacobs primrose cardigan and top together:
Though they are the same basic print (with the same buttons, as you can see), the top is more of a cream hue, while the cardigan has an undeniable pink tint to it.
I took the pearls off after this lol, and replaced them with my Tiffany key. Sorry for the crappy webcam photo!

I'm a great lover of texture. Here are three white tops that are incredibly interesting and pretty because of the added texture:
(From left to right: Alice + Olivia, Max Mara, Robert Rodriguez)
The Max Mara tank top is one of my favorite tops. The ruffles need to be ironed and kind of puffed out sometimes (like now haha), but they are amazing.

The Robert Rodriguez tee is similar to my recently purchased black Robert Rodriguez top; I love tops with interesting sleeves.
The Alice + Olivia top just has a really fun collar:
I was thinking of what to pair the black Robert Rodriguez top with, and I came up with a really fun party outfit:

It's terribly washed out, but that is an Elizabeth & James skirt. I would pair this with my Chanel, some fun lacy tights, and black flats or pumps. :)
I recently borrowed the Hunger Games books from my boyfriend's sister and I finished them in one day; I really loved them!
(Mah pita bread brings all the tributes to the arena, and they're like, "We love your bread, Peeta!")
I'm sick right now, again, which is totally unfair lol.

  1. I don't think I like the bow bag with the bow headband or the bow bag with the idea of bow flats...too many bows. the headband is kind of juvenile i think and adding another bow is silly

    1. I don't mind the bow bag with either a bow headband or bow flats, I think all three might be too many, but two is fine :)

    1. I feel like clothes that don't look great on the hanger usually look much better on haha. They're made for people, not hangers, after all :)

  4. Karl Lagerfeld quote, Marc by Marc Jacobs top, ruffles, the beach and the Hunger Games ALL IN ONE POST ? I don't think I can handle this.

I love this post ! I'm going to re-read it now haha.

  7. Regarding your twitter.. It's just "Pink" not "Love Pink." May as well be calling Tiffany's "Return to Tiffany's." God you can say some reatarded shit sometimes.

    1. "Reatarded" is not a word. You are having a ridiculous overreaction to a tiny error in a tweet, calm yoselfff

    2. Tiny error? More like you're trying so hard to sound label-savvy that you made up a brand that doesn't exist.

    3. Lmao why are you so bent on trying to bring me down? Nobody cares about VS and its little subdivisions, it's not an actual worthwhile designer. Seriously, calm down

  8. You could also try an all neutral outfit and the bag be a pop of color. I love how you styled it but that's also a suggestion. Bluebox89

  10. you have great pieces but it would help if you weren't so matchy matchy with everything! For example, the two MbMJ prints together looks more old lady and washed out than trendy. Instead, pick a color from the print, or a neutral color to make the print stand out. And the nautical outfit, overkill, WAYYYY too much, you can't do so many bows! Do hair bow, strips, and red flats which will pop and a brown bag, having so many bows is way too much, that bow bag will instead look tacky in your outfit and look like a little kid trying to play dress up.

You have great pieces, but definitely work on picking one or two pieces and making that shine instead of a entire assembly which can end up drowning whatever statement you're trying to make!
