Currently Coveting: Beauty Products, Prada, Longchamp, VS

I was at Sephora today and saw/tried some things I plan to order online. I prefer ordering online with Sephora because you get samples, and there are more promotions online. Plus, I need to get a new Beauty Insider card and it's just easier to order online lol.

I'm intrigued by Benefit's skin care. I love Benefit's makeup and I think they need to give whoever does their marketing and packaging a raise. Benefit has amazing packaging. Their makeup is so fun, while their skin care products look so fresh and clean. I smelled these and I liked them, and I would love to hear people's opinions of them (if you've tried them)!

I also kind of want a Clarisonic, but I feel like I don't really need one. Sway me! Lol.
I am also loving the Parisian-inspired Hello Kitty line. I want this compact:
I think I'm going to order the two new spring Dior nail polish shades from Sephora, too.
I also kind of want a bottle of the Marc Jacobs Eau so Fresh fragrance. It's one of the next perfumes I want to get. I already have the regular Daisy, but mine is running low.
I ordered a pair of the Sexy Little Things cheekies from the Semi-Annual Sale and I love them, so I think I want to get three pairs for $30. Sexy Little Things is one of my favorite VS lines.
I am obsessed with these Prada flats, but I need to get my Baroque sunnies first. I also can't pick a color, though I am leaning towards red.
So cute!

I was going to get a Le Pliage on sale from the Longchamp website but today they removed all their sale merchandise! I went to the store on Madison but they didn't have the color I wanted in the correct size/style. I e-mailed the Spring Street store and am going to call them tomorrow. I also e-mailed Longchamp. I must have that Le Pliage! Lol. I am also loving this one for spring:

Hopefully I can get the Longchamp Le Pliage I want! I loved that color :(

Last minute edit - I forgot to include this lipstick! I tried it on at Sephora and I am in love. I want it in the 101 shade.

All of these things are making me so excited for spring! The Dior and Chanel spring nail polish colors are so lovely; Daisy Eau so Fresh is so light and springy; the floral Le Pliage is stunning; ah I'm so excited for it to be warm! Today was so icky and rainy. :(

    1. Haha, well they're not for everyone. I think they're really cute and quirky! :)

  2. benefit skin care is really not good...it's so perfume-y! skin care shouldn't be scented, it should be gentle and as plain as possible. the scents added to products are full of alcohol which is very abrasive and drying to skin. i've studied a good amount of skin care and a very fragrant product is very rarely good on the skin..that said i tried the benefit facial cream and it was a very heavy moisturizer. it has mango butter in it and mango is a very moisturizing, almost greasy emollient. if you have very very dry skin it might be an option but if you're that dry you probably have some irritation and all of the preservatives and chemicals in this product won't help that.

that dior nail polish looks amazing!

  3. Are we the same person? I have Benefit's makeup remover and hydrating cream (though I wash with Purity by Philosophy; it's better against breakouts and it cleans deeper imo). Also I was eyeing the Hello Kitty compact yesterday at Sephora Union Square. BUT I just got a powder compact from Stila so I refrained.

Purity the facewash came in a pack with a big bottle and cleansing cloths for $39. Got that! AND the benefit pore minimizer sample as a point perk. :)

    1. Hmm, maybe I'll get the Philosophy facewash then. Do you like the hydrating cream? The compact is amazing, I just saw it today at the store on Lex and I couldn't take my eyes off it haha. For some reason, I think it was $19 in store, but it's $18 online. It's so cute though! And I think I gave away my Sephora compact to my mom, so I need a new one....muahahaha >:)

    1. It's like a nicer version of Daisy, which I adore, so I really want it! :D Does it last long?

  5. Kate Sommerville makes very nice skin care although it is quite expensive the packaging feels durable and the products really do work. They are comparable to La Mer in my book. I also love the philosophy face wash with the Clarisonic Mia. That is what I use at night and then I use Ole Henriksen eye creme-very moisturizing. Then the Kate Sommerville moisturizer and acne spot treatment. The Hello Kitty compact is very durable! I have an old version that I use in my purse.

    1. Do you feel like the Clarisonic is worth it? Thank you for the advice! I definitely want that compact now haha :)

    2. I do feel like the Clarisonic is worth it but only if you are having problems with your skin like roughness or acne. It truly changed my skin for the better and I definitely think it was 100% worth it for me!

    3. I don't really have many problems with my skin apart from the occasional acne so that's why I'm iffy about whether or not I need a Clarisonic. I'm glad it was worth it for you and helped you! :)

  6. Hi Yana! I love your blog
I was just wondering if you've ever tried any of Laura Merciers products. I'm thinking about getting her oil free tinted moisturizer but I don't know if its worth it!

  7. Hi I've tried the benefit skin care products and they're great! I have only had samples of them so I'm not sure about the long term but I found the facial moisturiser great over winter as I get dry skin from heating etc and it worked pretty well, I had to use it more than once to actually get rid of the dryness but all in all they were good and they do smell lovely :)

Also I've always been curious about flats in that style and are they comfy? I'm always paranoid that they won't stretch enough and will dig in and hurt! :-/

    1. I think I'm going to ask for a sample of them next time I'm at Sephora. :)
I find flats like that comfy, they stretch to accommodate all the parts of your foot :) I have Miu Mius and Pradas like that and they've been comfortable since I first wore them :)

  10. Two questions for you that are completely unrelated to this post lol.

    1. What do you own for wallets?
    2. Do you own any Chanel jewelry, like the logo studs that everyone has fakes of?

    1. I have a MbMJ tri-fold wallet and a little leather Juicy wallet from high school that I use if I am carrying a tiny bag, lol. And I used to have earrings, but I lost one. I'm wary of getting their jewelry because it's way overpriced and not made with good materials. Like, they sell faux pearls for $1,000+. -_- And the rhinestone studs on their earrings fall out ;_;

  11. I love the red polka dot Pradas. I've never been one for Longchamp but that bag makes me want it. BAD lol. I agree with anon, do you own any Chanel jewelry?
