"The most important relationship you have in your life is the relationship you have with yourself. Because no matter what happens you will always be with yourself." -Diane von Furstenberg

So, I've finally decided what I'm going to wear to my grandmother's birthday party this weekend! It's not too formal, so I decided against wearing a dress.

Above: with flash; below: without.
I'm going to wear the Rebecca Taylor silk skirt I thrifted (I am aware that this is not a word) for $5, a Leifsdottir shirt, a MbMJ cardigan, my Chanel, and my Pour la Victoire platforms.

I seriously love how my Chanel flap makes every outfit look. It goes with EVERYTHING and it always makes my outfits look much better.

I took a lot of photographs of her; she is very photogenic ;)

For accessories, I'm going to wear the Juicy Couture bracelet my aunt got me a while ago. I think it will be nice for her to see me wearing it, plus it matches the hardware on my Chanel. Also, obligatory lens cap picture:
These are the buttons on my Marc by Marc Jacobs cardigan. I have so many MbMJ pieces in this pattern, ranging from violet to light pink to cream. It is definitely one of my favorite prints.

I'm going to wear my Pour la Victoire platforms for the first time, which is exciting!

I love the gold marking on the back of the shoes. Not a Louboutin, but nice enough for me! I can't wait to get my hands on a pair of Loubs, but I fear I wouldn't wear them enough to justify the cost.

I'm also going to wear these rose earrings from Saks Fifth Avenue. They match the ring I'm going to wear!

Closeup of the bracelet's closure thing:

Labels of everything. I feel like most people don't know what Leifsdottir is, and it's amazing, so I like to mention it often haha.

Also going to put my hair in a high ponytail and don this headband from Henri Bendel. Brand was Natasha:

The gold hardware on the buttons matches the rest of the gold:

Variety of textures:
My boyfriend got me this ring:

My heels with my bag:
I realize I'm providing useless commentary but I prefer seeing some text in between photos lol!

Lovely chain of my Chanel:

I'll update with pictures of me in the ensemble on Saturday or Sunday! :)
