“In the end, it’s important for us to learn to value ourselves enough to stand up for what we know is right and for what we want, otherwise we will never get it.” -Miranda Kerr

Nothing says spring and summer quite like a flowy, easy dress. I first saw this dress at the Juicy Couture flagship on Fifth Avenue and I fell in love with it. It was available in three colors - purple (available here or here), purple with dots, and a periwinkle blue, which is the color I fell in love with. However, the dress was quite pricey -  almost $300. So I waited for it to go on sale, and it finally did! Juicy Couture is having a 30% additional percent off sale right now, so I suggest you check it out! :) I wound up purchasing three things.

"I think 'modesty' is a beautiful word today - and a beautiful attitude." -Alber Elbaz

Blue boxes never fail to elicit squeals of delight. This particular kind of blue box is my first venture into the wonderful world of Lanvin shoes. These espadrille sandals were a gift from my mommy, so thank you mom! :) I really appreciate these gorgeous sandals.

“Create your own style… let it be unique for yourself and yet identifiable for others.” -Anna Wintour

Here are a few [non-thrifted] things I have picked up in the past couple of months from Elizabeth & James, Tibi, Juicy Couture, Betsey Johnson, Free People, Alice + Olivia, Wolford, Coach, and Vince...:)

PROJECT ARM CANDY: Acquisition Three!

Of all the arm candy I hoped to acquire, there was one bracelet in particular that I coveted above all the others - the McQueen twin skull bracelet. It was sold out in gold everywhere I looked, and I thought I was going to have to order it from overseas. Then, I realized I could just call the Alexander McQueen store in NYC and ask if they had it in stock...LOL. They did, and so I trudged on over there with my lovely best friend Audrey (follow her on tumblr!) and I was so happy to find the bracelet I'd been loving for months! I took this photo a couple of minutes after leaving the Alexander McQueen boutique in the Meatpacking District. I also secretly snapped a couple of photos in the store....everything was so beautiful. Alexander McQueen is amazing. :')

PROJECT ARM CANDY: Acquisition Two

About a month ago, I made a post featuring my first Alexander McQueen bangle. In the post,  I mentioned that I wanted to buy a few bracelets and stack them. I finally got my second McQueen bangle, and I'm excited to share it with you! :) I purchased my bracelet from Zappos, but you can also find them at Bergdorf Goodman, Ssense, Saks, and Net-A-Porter.

Thrifting: Chanel, Salvatore Ferragamo, Prada, Lanvin, Tory Burch, Burberry, Coach, Tibi, and more!

I have been meaning to put together this post for months now. I've been thrifting a lot less lately, just because I feel like I have too much stuff and I'd rather invest in something/save up. I just ran around my room finding stuff I thrifted but didn't photograph just because I was too lazy to, and I kind of slapped this together. The photos are far from perfect, so I apologize in advance! I am debating selling a few of these things, too. I don't remember the precise prices because I bought this stuff a while ago, but I will do my best to be as accurate as possible.

"If the pressure is too big, do something else." -Karl Lagerfeld

I apologize profusely for the lack of blog posts lately - I just finished my spring semester, so hopefully I will be able to post a lot more! I was also having trouble uploading photos to my MacBook because I couldn't find the USB cable for my camera, but I finally found it today! :) This post is going to be about a few makeup/beauty/hair care items I purchased recently.
