Summer Espadrille Haul: Valentino + Jimmy Choo

Summer's impending arrival mandated a fresh update to my shoe collection, and unsurprisingly, I opted for new espadrilles by two of my favorite shoe designers - Valentino and Jimmy Choo.

I absolutely adore my black lace Valentino espadrilles; they're one of my go-to pairs of shoes in warmer weather. (Read more here.) When I spotted these red lace espadrilles on sale, I scooped them up, and for practically half off (just like with my black ones)! These espadrilles are very comfortable and I can walk around in them all day, which makes either pair ideal for my upcoming trip to Spain!

I am also loving these espadrilles in mint, baby blue, olive green, pink, and white.

Jimmy Choo's Donna espadrilles finally went on sale, so I purchased them, too. These elegant espadrilles are unique in their delicate wrap-around design. I would probably try these on in a store prior to purchasing them, because the sizing is important; otherwise, the part that wraps around your foot might not fit properly. I thought I would need a 40 or 10 but wound up getting a 9.5 (39.5). Similar styles are available from Aquazzura.
