"I've been lucky. Opportunities don't often come along. So, when they do, you have to grab them." -Audrey Hepburn

Happy March everyone! How have you all been? :)
I got a few new makeup items recently, and I shall be doing an everyday makeup post soon. :) I also thrifted a few things, but I've been trying to cut down on shopping and focus on saving for things I want - namely, Tom Ford Nicos, a Marc by Marc Jacobs watch, and a Miu Miu bracelet. ;D

I'll start off with the items I thrifted. I was shopping with a friend when I spotted this Pencey tank top, and I showed it to her jokingly, because it's not something I would wear. She challenged me to style it by finding something else in the store to pair it with, and I think I managed....decently, considering the circumstances. LOL. I wound up buying the tank top (it was half off and $1.50) just to take photos and show you guys. I don't know if I will ever wear it....where do you wear something like this? To the beach? Lol. It reminds me of the 90s.... I'll probably sell it to Buffalo Exchange or Beacon's Closet haha.

The bottom I found to pair it with was this Nanette Lepore skirt, which I absolutely love. I bought it for $2!

The embellishments are gorgeous.

And this was how I ultimately decided to style the crazy tank top...though I don't know if I would wear this out in public lol. I must admit, however, that I am getting more daring with my purchases and buying things I normally wouldn't in an attempt to style them in a cool way. I was never really one for experimenting too much, preferring to stick with classic clothing, but recently I've been intrigued by more, shall we say, "interesting" clothing.
(Dooney & Bourke bag, Loeffler Randall sandals)

The other thing I got was this LAMB sweater vest thing. I think this is something most people would pass over, but I loved the pattern on it and I knew it would look awesome over a collared button down.

I paired it with this button down by Band of Outsiders:

I thrifted a few other things that I didn't photograph yet - a brown Laundry blazer with burgundy silk lining on the inside (so when I roll the sleeves up, it's burgundy....absolutely lovely), brand new blue Moschino trousers for $5, 7 For All Mankind Josefina jeans for $5, and 7FAM shorts for $1.50.

My lovely mom was given these Estee Lauder lipsticks as a gift and she didn't love any of them, so she allowed me to try them out....and I have to admit, I don't really love any either. Maybe my grandma will want some lol. This is why I don't give makeup as a gift unless I'm absolutely sure the person wants it.

The only two colors I kind of liked:
I went to VS and finally got the Sexy Little Things cheekies I wanted. This is probably my favorite style from them. I LOVE the colors I got. I am obsessed with mint and lilac for spring. I know it's probably not the classiest thing to photograph underwear haha but it's not like I'm taking modelling pics LOL. I've personally never had a problem with photos of underwear. I love cute undergarments!

 Love the leopard print bow!

Finally, on to makeup. I finally got Chanel May....the nicest SA was at the Chanel counter. Now I need to get June! I tried out the other new colors from the newest line and I think I might get Distraction. I am not loving the other two. Actually, I kind of wish I hadn't gotten Tentation :/
May is absolutely gorgeous, the SA was wearing it and it is such a gorgeous pink!

Here are some nail shades I'm loving for spring:
I ordered some stuff from Sephora, as well. I love ordering online because you get so many freebies!

^Those are free samples. I ordered the Parisian Hello Kitty mirror I wanted and it is the most adorable thing!

I also got these little Tokidoki mints. The packaging is both cute and convenient. They have a little mirror. :)

Finally, I got the YSL lipstick I wanted. The color is 101 - Beige Carress

My only YSL lipsticks so far:
I've been loving lipstick lately. I really want another YSL lipstick (Rouge Pur Couture #27: Fuschia Innocent).

I got this Kenneth Jay Lane cuff from Ideeli for $30 - it was originally $300. I love it!

^My sad attempt at a creative manicure. This is what my nails look like at the moment:
Here are some random instagram photos before I go haha
Have a great day! <3

  6. Thrifting must take a while. I'm not the thrifting kind. I wouldn't even know where to start. I haven't owned a Chanel polish. It must be awesome. Do they chip or come off easily?
