Alexander Wang Addiction: Bags

I fell in love with the Marion a long time ago, but never quite made the plunge in purchasing it. Much to my dismay, the rose gold and pebbled leather combination I had coveted (and confidently put off, given its status as a classic in Alexander Wang's collection) became sold out and impossible to find. I scoured eBay for a long time before finding one and purchasing it, and it has since become one of my favorite bags.

I recently got another (!!) Marion at the Alexander Wang sample sale in Soho at 151 Wooster Street. This little cutie is also black, albeit suede, and with silver hardware. At $225, I couldn't pass it up.

Another fantastic eBay find was this Prisma tote. I've been lusting after this one for ages, too, but didn't want to pay too much for it - I lucked out and found a brand new one on eBay for $400. The tote is sleek and cool - definitely one of my favorite bags! I also like the updated version, which has slightly different corners.

The Alexander Wang sample sale also had the pebbled and smooth leather iPad cases. I opted to get a pebbled one - they were $75 each!

My Anouck Jodhpur boots match the rose gold of the Marion beautifully.

So, I think it's fair to warn you all that the next post will probably be of more Alexander Wang....just shoes this time. I was able to justify another Marion to myself by reasoning that I had just bought two gorgeous pairs of Wang boots with silver hardware, the Gabi and the Kori
Truthfully, having the bag in silver, too, is actually pretty great, because I love the Marion, but rose gold can clash with outfits sometimes.

Did any of you check out the Alexander Wang sample sale, or snag any goodies during this season's sales? I'd love to see them! :)

  1. Stunning bag! Funny you got it at the sample sale as I was going to go to that one and ended up going to the Tory Burch one instead!

    1. Aw, we could've bumped into each other haha! How was the Tory Burch sale? There were no phones allowed in the Wang sale lmao and there was a line just to LOOK at the bags. I went mid-day on Saturday and there was hardly a line outside, at least - I waited for maybe five minutes :)
