"I couldn't have attended half the parties that I was supposed to have been to according to the newspapers. It bothers me." -Calvin Klein

Fashion's Night Out was probably one of the best nights of my entire life. I dragged my best friend Anna to the city, and figured we'd go to Bloomingdales for FNO...
We wound up leaving Bloomingdales and walking around. She'd never really been to Barney's, so we went. Once we got there, we grabbed their itinerary and decided to stay there for FNO. It was well worth it.
We got so much free food - popcorn, these weird organic drinks, free Fiji, there was champagne, everything! A makeup artist did our makeup, and told me I had great skin, which made me happy haha. I want to go back there and buy the bronzer and concealer he used on me. I danced on the runway with Alexander Wang and his models:

I saw the Fashion and Creative directors of Barney's (I've seen Simon Doonan before, but only on tv!) MANOLO BLAHNIK SIGNED MY NOTEBOOK! I was the last person, he was just about to leave! My friend and I made a flip book. And then we went to Gucci on a tip from the lady on line with us waiting for Mr. Blahnik...I wanted one of the Fashion's Night Out shirts, but they were $30 and I didn't have money on my card, and Anna didn't have money because we'd spent it all on food. We walk into Gucci, go upstairs, eat Gucci-monogrammed chocolates, come downstairs, and enter a sweepstakes by signing a thing. And what do we know? A man comes up to us and says, "Ladies, this is for you." Two nice, neat brown Gucci bags...with FNO tees in them. For free. IN OUR SIZES. After this, we walked around, went to David Yurman (they were out of free cowboy hats), Tiffany & Co (free white rose for me!), Henri Bendel (some guy stopped me on the street recently while I was in my t shirt and told me he was there), and more. Anna couldn't stay out late, so we got home at around ten; my Marc Jacobs bag was waiting for me at home. It was such a beautiful night; there were so many well-dressed people and models in the store windows and so many paparazzi.

This outfit is a little ridiculous; don't really know what I was thinking.

I told myself I'd stop shopping lately, but I haven't been able to. There are just such good deals out there! I needed a new bag for school, so I scored the Softy Jorie tote from Marc by Marc Jacobs.

I also found the Dita Lace Marc by Marc Jacobs dress that Blair Waldorf wore in the episode Blair Waldorf Must Pie! of Gossip Girl. It's a $500 dress - get this, I got it for $35 in a different color. I found a floral Elie Tahari shirt for $25 (originally $278), and just yesterday I found the Philippe Adec blazer Blair wore in Victor, Victrola for $116. That blazer is worth $400. :D Now, I just want a nice pair of blue and black flats, that hat from Barney's, and Chanel rainboots.

"Fashion is all about happiness. It's fun. It's important. But it's not medicine." -Donatella Versace

I've gone shopping.
I've gone and done a tiny bit of shopping.
1000 thread count sheets of Egyptian cotton (everybody needs sheets, and Egyptian cotton is simply the best) in a nice shade of blue. They didn't have the perfect cream to match my bed, but I couldn't pass up such wonderful sheets! They'll go nicely with my room; brown and blue are very amicable colors. Oh, and my mother bought a nice tray and some shades for the kitchen.
I bought a Save the Queen shirt: black, amazing detail, gorgeous neckline, great collar, interesting backing, and a good deal. $130 for a $380 shirt. And my mother insisted I buy it.
Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater: $228 originally, 100% wool, and a great, fun turtleneck with a fun pocket. My dad likes wool. It's horizontally striped, but by the winter, I'll be skinny enough not to look fat in wide horizontal stripes.
Finally, a wonderful Marc by Marc Jacobs pleated skirt. I do love pleated skirts! $248 originally, don't remember how much I got it for. I'll wear it to Gary's party. It's long enough for school. It's got a great pattern. And I love pleated skirts.
Oh! And I finished both The Devil Wears Prada and Confessions of a Shopaholic. I love shopping. I love books about shopping. I could shop all day...LOL!
Shoes at the Barney's Warehouse Sale that matched my nails.
