"I love beauty. It's not my fault." -Valentino Garavani

Since the label's beginnings in 1959, Valentino has been a glittering, lavish favorite of society belles and fashion's aficionados. Valentino's signature poppy red and remarkable gowns exuded glamor; his pieces and lacework were exquisite. Since Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli took over the creative direction of the label, the line has merged the classic with the modern, bringing in edgier elements like the now-infamous "rockstud." The pyramid studs found their way onto handbags and spread to shoes, quickly becoming a focal point in each season's new collections.
A great Valentino lover myself, I recently purchased two pairs of shoes and a leather bracelet, all three of which I am enamored with. I am excited to share them with you all!

The first pair of shoes I would like to share with you is a pair I have had my eye on for practically a year. I waited ages for these to go on sale and finally bought them a short while ago. You can purchase them here or here. There is a similar pair available here, as well as a slightly different style. There are also currently some embellished ones on sale.
These shoes are almost too beautiful to be worn. Prepare yourself for an overload of photos haha :)

They came with a ton of care instructions, so I suppose to keep them safe I'll just strap plastic bags over them any time I want to go outside...
The next pair I bought is not a pair of shoes I had intended to buy so soon, but after deciding not to buy some other pairs of shoes (like these), I wound up getting these at a great price. Valentino recently had a price increase, so these went from being $595 to $695. I got them for $320 from a consignment store called A Second Chance. They were priced at $400 and were 20% off!
Though this particular shade of blush is from an older season, there are great colors out now, too! You can buy this style here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, or here. They come in a variety of colors. :)

Finally, I purchased this rockstud bracelet.

It's a great addition to my arm parties! Here are some shots of it in action:

  1. I love the lace loafers and have been wanting a pair of rockstud heels of my own for awhile. That's so impressive that you got those at consignment with so little wear.

  3. OMG! I am sooooooooo jealous that you were able to find both of those shoes for great prices. I've been in love with that season's Valentino shoe collection. All of the shoes are so romantic and feminine. I've been wanting those studded flats for a long time as well but everytime that I go to the department store downtown they are sold out in every size :(

    Nice blog btw!! xoxo
