Scarves are fantastic accessories. They can transform an entire look. My favorite brands for scarves are Burberry, Missoni, and Alexander McQueen. These can be quite expensive, however, so it's always good to find them for less! Only one of my Burberry scarves was purchased for full price. The rest I found at thrift stores! I recently found two new Burberry scarves while thrifting, which you will see in this post, along with a Missoni scarf I bought quite some time ago but never posted. I also got a super cute Juicy cardigan I want to share with you. :)
This is one of the Burberry scarves I thrifted recently. It reminds me of Chanel tweed suits. This scarf was $22.
The second scarf I thrifted is quite large. It's one of my favorite scarves now! It's a beautiful blue gray, and it's very light and chic. This was $35.
Here are all of my Burberry scarves:
The most expensive one was the gray and black one at the very right. It was $300 a few years ago. I think these scarves are $375 now. It was my very first Burberry scarf, and I didn't want to get a traditional check scarf like everyone else had, so I got it in a dark color instead of the usual camel/red.

The second Burberry scarf I got was the one at the very top (orange/white/green). That was $21.
The pink one I found for either a dollar or less, I don't remember.

I got this Missoni scarf several months ago from Loehmanns. I love Loehmanns, especially when items go on clearance. This scarf was an additional 40 or 50 percent off. I think it wound up costing me 50-something dollars.
Finally, this is the cardigan I thrifted. I've been loving grungy stuff lately, but I still like for things to have a certain aesthetic about them that looks put-together. The gold buttons made me fall in love with it. This was $30.
I'm currently working on a Fall Shopping List post and some other things, so stay tuned! :)
Have you had these authenticated? I researched how to tell recently and I remember reading that the blue line is only supposed to run vertically, and not in both directions like some of yours do? I could be wrong, but just trying to help!
ReplyDeleteThe lines in the check run in both directions as far as I know. :) And no worries! <3
DeleteI'm so jealous of your collection. So far, I only have three designer scarves: Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Burberry. Burberry is my favorite brand, so I hope to get my hands on more of them. :D
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love that cardigan. I wish I had more time to go thrifting and more luck.
ReplyDeleteThese are some AMAZING buys!!
ReplyDeleteGreat eye on those sale pieces...and even the one that you paid retail for...it's an investment and hopefully you will have it for many years :)
