“It’s that wonderful old-fashioned idea that others come first and you come second. This was the whole ethic by which I was brought up. Others matter more than you do, so ‘don’t fuss, dear; get on with it.’” -Audrey Hepburn

I'm about to go out for Thai food with my boyfriend, but I figured I'd make a quick blog post before I left. :) Yesterday I went for a long walk with my mom; we had to return a jacket we bought for my dad that he didn't like. I wound up buying a new nail polish and a couple of things from VS for the gym.

Chanel Particuliere has been on my wishlist for quite some time. I am kind of liking Inattendu and Morning Rose, though I usually prefer brighter nail polish colors.
Here is what Particuliere looks like:
It's similar to OPI's You Don't Know Jacques but different enough to warrant having both:
You Don't Know Jacques is a lot darker. Both colors are very fall/winter appropriate. :)
I got perfume samples from Chanel, too :)
VS's little Pink doggies have become so crappy....I remember my first ones had little backpacks and scarves and accessories, and the ones they have now are so poorly/cheaply made. I understand that there is probably a lot of demand for them but I think they could put more thought and effort into them.
At VS I just got a pair of shorts and a couple of tees in bright colors. I can't decide if I think the shorts are the tackiest thing ever or if I really like them because technically these would not be something I would like (and yet I somehow do....if that makes sense), but who cares haha, they're for the gym. The tees are just bright and happy, because I hate feeling gloomy and tired at the gym. You gotta be energetic! Lol

This week I went to get Japanese food with my boyfriend, and these little lunch boxes (I'd call them bento boxes but I don't think they are) are soooo good:
These are horrible photos. I need a new phone. Lmao. But they come with white rice, dumplings, a salad, sushi (I got a ginza roll, which is my favorite), steamed veggies, and your choice of meat. Last time we got these I got chicken teriyaki, this time I got salmon. My bf always gets beef negimaki, which is really good, too.
The Bloomingdales LV has the cutest cupcake in its window right now:
And hooray for YSL lipstick :)
This is the ruffley DvF top I mentioned before:
I can totally see this with some skinny jeans and an oversized blazer, along with my Valentino bag (because the bottom of the tank is blue....lol).
Okay, now I'm running late....time for Thai food! Lol
