I am so excited about this post! I had a truly wonderful day today and on top of that, I found some amazing stuff. I apologize for the not exactly superb photographs, but I recently started school so I'm not able to be home at the best times for good lighting. All of the items in this post were thrifted from different places (on different days haha), and I love everything I got.

Guess what I finally got? I've been coveting these for so long and I finally saved up enough for them! I got the Prada Baroque sunglasses in black =)

I'm about to go out for Thai food with my boyfriend, but I figured I'd make a quick blog post before I left. :) Yesterday I went for a long walk with my mom; we had to return a jacket we bought for my dad that he didn't like. I wound up buying a new nail polish and a couple of things from VS for the gym.

What's in my bag?

I had a few people on Tumblr request that I do a post on here featuring the stuff in my bag, so here goes...lol

Whenever I get a new....well, anything, I try to think of interesting ways to wear it. The Valentino bow clutch I recently purchased is a bit of a challenge, mostly because it's blue, while my new/old (haha) vintage bags are much easier to match.

Since it snowed, New York has become a dangerous place to be a pedestrian. Murky slush threatens to ruin your favorite Prada shoes with every step you take. Regardless of how painstakingly you tip toe through the treacherous terrain, some areas have a thin blanket of ice left there by lazy or otherwise incapable homeowners. Thankfully, the amount of such areas is diminishing rapidly. To comfort myself during these troubling times (joking, obviously), I purchased a new blouse from Theory to tide me over until spring, along with a dinky little key pouch from Marc by Marc Jacobs, as you can see above.

The Longchamp Le Pliage is a great bag with one fault - it's much too popular. I see them all over New York. However, they are really useful. They are extremely durable, they are waterproof, they fit a lot, and they are easy to wash and take care of. I have two now - an Eiffel tower one that I got like three or four years ago, and a new one that I will be showing you now! :)

Today has been absolutely horrible. I have some sort of stomach virus, so I have been up since 11 pm last night vomiting. I finally feel a little better, albeit very weak and tired, so I'm trying to make myself less bored by blogging things I want, lol.

I was at Sephora today and saw/tried some things I plan to order online. I prefer ordering online with Sephora because you get samples, and there are more promotions online. Plus, I need to get a new Beauty Insider card and it's just easier to order online lol.

Sometimes, when I'm thrifting, I see something that takes my breath away. Right away, I know that I won't be able to walk away without the item. This was one of those times.

I first fell in love with the Valentino Noeud d'Amour ("love knot") clutch a couple of years ago. I have a pair of red satin Ralph Lauren Collection bow heels that I thought the red Valentino would match perfectly. However, I was much younger at the time and only had a job in the summer, and my mom wasn't about to buy me a $1,095 bag (with good reason). 

So how did I get this amazing bag?

Do you guys like the sexy mustache I'm growing out? :P I was browsing the Kate Spade website because I love Kate Spade, and I found so many things that I actually really want to purchase. I'm a huge lover of Kate Spade but I only have a few things from the brand (a pair of heels, two cardigans, an agenda, and other little things). Hopefully today I will be picking up three new tops (a puff sleeved blouse from Tibi, a ruffle sleeved Robert Rodriguez top, and a lace printed Joie tank top), so I will post those tomorrow if I purchase them. Today is my mom's birthday - I got her a leather Coach tote for work and Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume. I'll take photos when I can. :) Anyway, this is what I'm loving from Kate Spade!

I had a wonderful day with my mom in Manhattan yesterday. We went to several stores, but we spent most of our time at Saks. Louis Vuitton finally had the agenda refills I needed, and I'm very pleased with them! I also got the most amazing Zac Posen blouse, a lovely Kate Spade cardigan, and two pairs of Prada shoes.

 I hit up a Chanel counter tonight and bought Chanel Vamp, and I'm loving how it looks on my nails. I shall take photos of it tomorrow morning. I ventured over to a Dior counter after making my purchase and I looked at the Garden Party collection, which is absolutely stunning. I love the collectible compact but to be honest I don't think they are worth it, at least for me. I already have a ton of eyeshadows and I don't like lip glosses that are in compacts, and none of the colors are something I don't have. However, the nail polishes are awesome!

I thrifted a couple of things in December that I never posted, and I also thrifted a couple of things yesterday, so this post is going to feature those things, as well as a couple of others.

It's probably not the best idea to make the first photo of this post a picture of me straight out of the shower, but oh well. I like my bathrobe so it's okay. Haha. This is just a quick currently coveting post! :) I look icky but at least I'm clean. =P I've been using my Philosophy Cafe Au Lait non-stop and I love how I come out of the shower smelling like coffee.

My Perfume Collection

I get asked so many questions about perfume on Tumblr, and I also get lots of questions about my personal perfume collection. This post is going to be about all of the perfumes I have so far, as well as the perfumes on my wishlist! :)

I got quite a few requests on Tumblr to do a post about my New Year's gifts, so here goes. I really did not expect much this year and I was perfectly fine with that, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

This year, my boyfriend and I made our first gingerbread house together. He surprised me with the kit, knowing that I wanted to make a gingerbread house this Christmas. :) I think it turned out pretty well! It was so much fun to make it together. Every day I feel luckier and luckier to have him in my life.
