"A women who doesn't wear perfume has no future." -Coco Chanel

I really love perfume. Though I don't necessarily agree with the quote that I made the title of this post, I think Coco Chanel was on to something. (Coco Chanel, on to something? Of course she was. What am I even saying?) That is, appearances are very important. The way you present yourself is very important - you ought to be well-dressed, well-spoken, poised, and clean. Cleanliness includes smelling good, and how do we smell good? With daily showers, of course, but also with perfume and cologne.
I need lots of perfumes to satisfy myself. Otherwise, I get very bored. Some of my perfumes include:

Then, there are the many perfumes I want. I'll probably buy a couple of new perfumes for college, and to build my collection, but there are just so many I want!

Other things I want for college that I'm actually seriously considering purchasing soon are, of course, my MacBook Pro, a new Longchamp Le Pliage (in a beautiful lavender, on sale), and a case for the Mac. Specifically, I want this one:
It's Marc by Marc Jacobs, looks comfortable, and doesn't come with a very hefty price tag (it's $78). Still, I'll probably wait for it to go on sale.
I really need to get my act together and hit that gym. I also can't wait to start swimming! But most importantly, at least right now, I have to clean my room. Ciao!

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street..." -Coco Chanel

I forgot to mention in my previous post that for college, I'm also getting a MacBook Pro. Hopefully soon! Macs are so sexy.
Speaking of MAC, I got my makeup done for prom and it looked amazing. I bought the lip moisturizer and lipstick/liner they used, as well as some powder finish and an eyebrow pencil (since one of my eyebrows is scarred and is missing hair). My makeup looked so flawless. I'm officially in love with MAC. The eye makeup stayed on almost perfectly all night too (I smudged my liner a bit on one eye), until morning. We finally came home at around 6 am. Prom and after-prom (especially after-prom), left something to be desired, but I feel like all proms are this way.
Anyway, time for me to be an unproductive vegetable before this super busy week I'm gonna have! :)

"The important thing is to take your time and not get stressed." -Diane von Furstenberg

Our fabulous prom is this Friday. Now, I think it's important to note that I don't consider prom important in the sense that ~*every little girl fantasizes about prom and her wedding day*~. I don't think I have ever fantasized about either, really. The thing is, our prom is at Cipriani on Wall Street, which is a gorgeous location! I'm pretty sure they had the Gossip Girl prom there.
Do you see this? Beautiful.
I'm gonna try to look my best, considering I'm still not at my ideal weight or anything. Still, I bought my dress completely last minute today (BCBG, fairly decent designer, and it looks beautiful...it's certainly no Valentino, nor is it Herve Leger, which was something I was considering...but at least it's still Max Azria?), and my body looks nice in it, which makes me happy. Now I just have to get everything done, like getting a hair appointment, getting my makeup done at MAC...it's a lot to do and I've got to do it all beforehand, all while maintaining a strict gym schedule so I look as good as possible in that damn XS dress. My general theme is black and gold (haha, Sam Sparro, anyone?). I really have a lot to figure out, and I wanted to get my boyfriend a present, too, so it's all very difficult.
